What the service is
InvoiceGen is a free browser-based tool for producing invoice PDFs and keeping a local record of them. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and no charge for any feature.
Your documents are yours
You own everything you create with the tool, and you are responsible for its accuracy — the figures, the tax treatment, the legal entity names and the payment details. We do not review, store or transmit your invoices, so we cannot correct a mistake in one.
Not professional advice
The guides on this site describe common invoicing practice in general terms. They are not accounting, tax or legal advice, and rules differ by country and by situation. Check anything that affects your tax position with a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Availability and data loss
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Because saved invoices live in your browser's storage, they can be lost by clearing site data, browser cleanup tools, or private browsing. Keep the downloaded PDFs; they are the durable copy.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the tool to create fraudulent, misleading or unlawful documents.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the service or access other people's accounts.
- Do not resell or present the tool as your own product.
Accounts
If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and choose one you do not use elsewhere. We may suspend an account being used in breach of these terms.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost income, lost data, or any indirect losses arising from use of the site. The tool is free; your remedy is to stop using it.
Changes
