Our mission
Getting paid should never be the hardest part of the job. Our mission is to make invoicing instant, private and free — your data stays on your device, saved only in your own browser storage, and it is never uploaded to a server.
Most invoicing software is built for companies with an accounts department. It asks you to create an organisation, invite teammates, connect a bank feed and pick a plan before it will let you write a single line. That is a reasonable trade for a business sending five hundred invoices a month. It is absurd for someone sending three.
So InvoiceGen does one thing: it turns a handful of fields into a document that looks like it came from a real business. Everything else was deliberately left out.

How it got here
The itch
A word-processor invoice template that reflowed every time a client name got one letter longer.
The first build
Two address blocks, a total, and a download button. That was the entire first version, and it worked.
What people asked for
Invoice numbers, due dates, currency, amount in words, and a place to keep last month's invoice.
Where it is now
A full generator with saved templates and one-click re-download — still under a second to load.
